Parking in Redmond

In response to the community's request for increased availability of on-street parking, the City of Redmond monitors time-limits for approximately 300 downtown Redmond on-street parking spaces during weekdays.

Parking Area

The affected area in downtown Redmond is bounded roughly by NE 90th St., Cleveland St., 164th Ave. NE, and the Sammamish River. A map of the parking area is available here.

Time Restrictions

2-hour parking designations, with some exceptions including 1-hour or 15-minute load/unload, are in effect from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Scooters, motorcycles and handicap on-street parking is available all-day and does not require an all-day parking permit.

All-Day Parking Permits

A limited number of paid parking permits, allowing all-day parking in designated zones, are available for sale on a monthly basis. A map of the permit parking zones is available here. Parking Violations

Parking time limits are actively enforced by Redmond's contracted parking enforcement agency. Tickets are issued to vehicles exceeding the maximum parking time. Parking violations are $29 and payable to the King County Municipal Court. Moving a vehicle and re-parking within the same day on the same street is subject to violation.
