Welcome to the Redmond Police Department Home Page.
Our mission statement is "To Provide Quality Policing in Partnership
with the Community." We have approximately 125 employees serving the
Redmond community, consisting of 85 commissioned officers and 40
non-commissioned employees. Redmond Police Department responds to
approximately 500 calls for service each week. We strive to maintain
the highest standards and have received accreditation from the
Washington Association
of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC).
We recruit, hire, and train high caliber employees and encourage career
path development for staff to meet the varied challenges faced in law
enforcement. We
continuously foster relationships and communication with private sector
security, businesses, apartment complexes, neighborhoods, schools, faith
communities, and other city departments.
There are a variety of classes and programs available to promote safety
awareness and crime prevention strategies. Your safety is our top
priority and we encourage you to take an active role in ensuring Redmond
remains an incredible place to live, work, and play.
