Redmond Police joins forces with other law enforcement agencies every
December to the Seattle Children's Hospital.
For over 15 years, the
Starlight
Children's Foundation has provided Holiday
Hospital Happenings to spread holiday cheer to patients and families. Since most children are not able to shop, the foundation brings the shopping to
them. Over 4,000 gifts, courtesy of toy drives and donations throughout the
community, are displayed and selected by kids for their families and
themselves. The gifts are then wrapped by volunteers from local police
agencies and delivered to patient's room.
