A public meeting for the 166 Ave NE Rechannelization Project is scheduled for Mon Oct 28 from 5 to 7 PM in the auditorium at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center at 16600 NE 80 Street. A brief project presentation will begin at 5:30 PM.
We are seeking your comments on the plan to improve safety on 166 Avenue NE between NE 85 and NE 100 Street. The plan includes rechannelizing 166 Avenue NE to convert traffic from four lanes to three, including a center two-way turn lane and bike lanes. Public comments from the meeting will be incorporated into the final design.
The 166 Avenue NE Rechannelization is a City Council-approved project that is part of Redmond’s Transportation Master Plan. The conclusion of the project will complete this corridor’s conversion, which started with previous conversions from Redmond Way to NE 85 Street and from NE 100 Street to NE 104 Street.
