Dowtown Redmond

The excitement is building in...

Downtown Redmond as the neighborhood transforms into a vibrant urban center. Pairing new residential and commercial building with classic historic spaces, and then adding a connected street grid with 2-way travel lanes, and variety of cultural and recreational opportunities, Redmond will continue to evolve as the place people desire to live, work, play and invest. While occasional disruptions to roads and street work will accompany the vision, the end result will yield a Downtown core easier to navigate by foot, bike and transit, and a place that supports local businesses enjoying a strong economy and lively atmosphere.

Current projects will bring:
  • A 2-acre downtown park
  • New trails and transit connections
  • A blend of historic, commercial and residential spaces
  • 2-way travel and connected street grids
  • Over 1,000 new residential units
