Freaks & Geeks Poetry Event: Los Angeles Review to Visit Redmond

  —LA comes to Redmond as the editor and writers of the Los Angeles Review join Redmond Poet Laureate Jeannine Hall Gailey to celebrate poetry on the Eastside at 8pm on Friday, March 15th at Soul Food Books, 15748 Redmond Way.

LA Review editor Kelly Davio will be on hand to read selected works and introduce local writers who have contributed to the Review. Writers will include Janet Buttenweiser, Katherine Eulensen, Jeremiah O’ Hagan and Michael Schmeltzer will read their work from recent issues. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

Jeannine Hall Gailey is the author of two books of poetry, She Returns to the Floating World and
Becoming the Villainess. She was named Redmond Poet Laureate in 2012 and recently published her third book, Unexplained Fevers in 2013.
