Neighborhood Resource Officers [NRO] work collaboratively with all police personnel, social services, businesses, city departments, other law enforcement agencies, and citizens to identify and solve long term problems. They tackle ongoing issues that can quickly escalate to criminal problems if left alone, such as drug issues, graffiti, neighbor disputes, and abandoned houses.
