Redmond, WA –  A two car injury crash has closed Bellevue-Redmond RD at NE 40th Street. Motorists should plan on using alternate routes throughout the morning.

Redmond officers were dispatched to a rollover injury accident shortly after 6AM. One driver was trapped in the vehicle with non life-threatening injuries. The second driver was not injured. The injured driver was transported to Overlake Hospital.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Redmond Police Traffic Unit. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
