Downtown Redmond is realizing the vision of a vibrant, walkable mixed-use center.  Recently built projects like The Veloce and Red 160 Apartments meet the City's pedestrian requirements.  Investments have been made to the pedestrian system on NE 83 Street and other Downtown locations, and the City is planning for future improvements on Cleveland Street.  Unique treatments are necessary to support walking as a viable mode of transportation, to support the economic vitality of local businesses, and maintain the character of Downtown.
