NNO Dan

THANK YOU TO THE 63 NEIGHBORHOODS WHO REGISTERED AND PARTICIPATED WITH US. IT WAS ANOTHER SUCCESFFUL N AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING EVERYONE IN 2018!

What is National Night Out?

National Night Out (NNO) is a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW). On the first Tuesday of August, thousands of neighborhoods across the country will be participating in this event.

When is National Night Out?

Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Our scheduled guest appearance window will be between 6PM-9PM, so if you request a visitor, please plan your party times accordingly.

Why participate in National Night out?

National Night out is designed to do the following:

  • heighten crime/drug prevention awareness
  • strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
  • send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

How do I register my party?

Registration for 2018 will open in May 2018. Stay tuned!

***Registering your event also gives you the opportunity to request visits from the Redmond Police Department, Redmond Fire Department, Redmond Office of Emergency Management, and your Mayor and City Council members. We will try to make appearances between 6pm-9pm that night.  If you have a particular question or neighborhood concern you would like addressed, please note that on your registration.

PLEASE NOTE: National Night Out is about individual neighborhoods coming together. Although we make every effort to accommodate visit requests, the nature of our job may prevent us from attending. We encourage party organizers to not make any promises to your guests, in case we are unable to attend.

If you have questions, please contact us at: crimeprevention@redmond.gov, phone 425-556-2632.
