The Overlake Residential Area is a subarea of the Overlake Neighborhood. Located in the northern portion of the neighborhood, the Overlake Residential Area primarily includes single-family homes along with several public parks:
- Cascade View Neighborhood Park
- Westside Neighborhood Park
The area is immediately adjacent to the Overlake Business and Advanced Technology zone and for some residents, provides a place to live and recreate conveniently close to work. Also in close proximity to Redmond's Downtown and the regional transportation network, Overlake Residential Area helps connect residents to many additional opportunities including Marymoor Park, the Sammamish River Trail (Burke Gilman Trail), and Seattle via SR-520.
