Walking

Redmond is a Feet First Agenda City

On July 19, 2011 the City was officially recognized by Feet First for the work we are doing to create a walkable community.  On that evening at the CityFeet First Agenda Council meeting, Mayor Marchione accepted a plaque on behalf of the City from Lisa Quinn, who is the Executive Director of Feet First.

For more information, check out the page about Feet First.

Redmond offers many opportunities to walk. There are many trails, sidewalks and walking paths to walk along, whether for fun, exercise or simply to get from place to place.

Whether walking around one of Redmond’s two urban centers, Downtown and Overlake, or in a neighborhood, Redmond’s walking maps offer many choices to encourage you to put one foot in front of another.
