City of Redmond Seeking Ideas for Vibrant Neighborhoods

  —The City of Redmond, along with the Growing Transit Communities partnership, is seeking ideas from the public about what makes urban neighborhoods most appealing as places to live, work, learn, and play. New urban neighborhoods with a mix of high density housing, retail, employment, parks and trails, and other uses will emerge around high capacity transit stations in the coming years in the central Puget Sound region. The City is seeking input through in-person contacts at events as well as an online survey to gather thoughts about how to make these neighborhoods appealing for people of all ages, including families. In Redmond’s Overlake neighborhood, light rail will be operating by 2023. Please find the survey at
