Current Project Activities: Modification to the UPS parking lot and utility adjustments to accommodate the new roadway have begun. Roadway excavation and wall construction will begin the end of April. New traffic signal work has begun at the intersection of Union Hill Road and 185th Avenue.

Description: This project will extend 185th Avenue NE to the north, through the UPS site, to Union Hill Road. A new traffic signal will be constructed at the intersection of Union Hill Road and 185th Ave NE. The project includes a 20' high soil nail wall and a significant amount of excavation (70,000 cy). Modifications will be made to the Millennium property driveway and the UPS parking lot. The project will also construct water quality features funded by the Department of Ecology which include porous concrete sidewalks and bio-swales to handle roadway rainwater runoff.
Lane restrictions on Union Hill Road will be limited to between the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
