Overlake

Overlake is the third largest employment center in the Puget Sound region, with about 46,000 jobs, a mix of office and retail, and a growing number of residents who call Overlake home.

The Overlake Urban Center is an important hub of activity on the Eastside, with immediate access to and from SR-520 and frequent transit service to Downtown Redmond, Downtown Bellevue, UW and Seattle. Redmond has adopted an ambitious vision for the Overlake Urban Center that enhances its existing assets and leverages new public and private investment to accommodate smart and efficient growth.

    Zoning & Incentives

    Zoning regulations in Overlake Village reward quality urban design, innovation, and sustainability and include an incentive program that allows applicants to reach up to 12 stories in some locations. The zoning code allows a range of land uses including mixed-use, residential, retail, office, and hotels.
