Third annual Girls Unlimited - Expanding Your Tomorrow was a huge success with over 75 young women participating and seven professional women sharing their story about their career choice.  Speakers from Microsoft, PopCap, Public Health, Boeing and UW Biologist shared their story.  If you want to learn more about events email rypac@redmond.gov. 

 

MAKING SERVICE FUN

The Redmond Youth Partnership Advisory Committee is Redmond’s Youth Leadership (RYPAC) program. They offer teens in junior high and high school community service hours for service projects that they help create local or internationally. RYPAC offer teens in Redmond a voice to help create opportunities for teens in Redmond. They create projects and celebrate their success and make service fun! “The program offer teens in Redmond a change to make a difference while having fun and learn to be a leader at the same time”, says Ken Wong, Teen Programs Director.
