Redmond City Council has appointed Roy Captain to the Redmond Planning Commission. Mr. Captain comes to the Planning Commission with many years of volunteer experience in the education, non-profit and business realms, most recently as the president of the Audubon Elementary PTSA.
The City of Redmond is recruiting new volunteer members for the Parks and Trails Commission to begin their three year term in May.
The Washington State Department of Ecology has offered Redmond a grant of $4,887,750 and a low interest loan of $1,629,250 to help fund restoration of Tosh Creek.
